SEXXY Paragraph - Hunt for the Wilder People

Hello readers. Today in English class I wrote a SEXXY paragraph about the conflict and chaos event in the film Hunt for the Wilder People. I will be showing you my SEXXY paragraph.

At the beginning of the film, Ricky and his Uncle Hec did not get along and they always argue. When Ricky came to talk to Uncle Hec he always says leave me alone. This makes the audience think that Hec doesn’t want any kid in his house. Hec doesn’t want Ricky to call him Uncle. This shows that Hec and Ricky need some time to get used to each other. When Bella was singing happy birthday to Ricky, Hec was really bored and act that he didn’t care about Ricky. This makes us understand that Hec didn’t really care about Ricky’s life. As the film progresses Hec and Ricky started getting along because when they are on the run they need to work together to survive so they are forced to get along.

This is a slide I did about the conflict and chaos event that happened in the film Hunt for the Wilder People

Ginger Gems

Hello people. Today in Home Economic class me and my group made ginger gems. It tasted really good.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl

  2. Warm Butter and Golden Syrup together in microwave until butter has just melted

  3. Remove and allow to cool slightly

  4. Add eggs and milk. Beat well to combine all wet ingredients

  5. Add liquids to dry ingredients and gently mix. Do NOT over mix.

  6. Grease muffin tin with spray oil

  7. Carefully spoon mixture into prepared muffin tins. Fill about ⅔ full

  8. Bake at 200℃ for 12 - 15 min. These are cooked when a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean or the centre springs back when pressed

I think my team worked alright.
The ginger gems are crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. It smells really good when it came out of the oven. It tasted sweet and had that ginger taste.

Overall I think this went really well and you should make it at home.

Heart Dissection

Hello. Today in biology class we dissected a heart. We have been learning about the heart and how it works for the past few weeks. We did the dissecting to see all its parts and how all of the parts work. Before we did the dissecting I think I'm going to see all of the parts and lots of blood.
 Right Side:
1. From the superior vena cava, cut down the right side from the atrium to the ventricle.
2. Identify the right atrium, ventricle, and valve.
3. Follow from the ventricle up through the artery.
 Left Side:
1. From the Pulmonary vein, cut down the left side from the atrium to the ventricle.
2. Identify the left atrium, ventricle, and valves.
3. Follow from the ventricle up through the artery.
I saw the way where the blood enters from the vein which is called an atrium. The valve's job is to make the blood move in one direction. The septum separates the left and right sides of the heart. The muscle walls help to push the blood around the body and the left side of the heart has more muscle than the right side. The heartstrings help to hold the valves in place. I think the dissection was successful but I accidentally cut myself while dissecting the heart. Overall I really enjoy it.
