In my opinion, I think that dogs are better pets than cats. If there's an intruder the dog could bark the intruder away and protect you. I think dogs are more intelligent than cats because you could train your dog to do things like dance, handshake, and more. Dogs are more playful and exciting. Dogs help guard blind people. If you are looking to get a pet I suggest you get a dog as your pet.

Marshmallow Tower
The IP skill that I used today was Verbal Communication. I did use warm fuzzies. I used the word good idea. Using this IP skill help my group to understand me. This helps with the activities because I need to share my ideas with the group. Today I worked with Roberto and Angus and we won. If we do the activity again I would use the same ideas because it was really good. I worked at level 3 for Hellison's Behaviour Model.

School uniforms should not be mandatory
I don't think school uniforms should be mandatory. School uniforms can cost a lot of money and some people can't afford them. I think normal clothes are more comfortable than school uniforms. By not wearing school uniforms people could express themselves more. I think school uniforms shouldn't be mandatory in New Zealand.

School Holidays should 1 week long
I think school holidays shouldn't be 1 week long because students should have a longer break so they could spend more time with their family. Some student get stress from school and it's good for them to have a break and slow down a bit. People also like to travel in the holidays so they don't miss out on school work so it's good if the holidays longer. My final conclusion is that school holidays should remain 2 weeks.

Film Review
Hello, Readers!
In film studies, we have been watching the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I am writing a film review about the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople and I will be showing you my film review.
The film Hunt for the Wilderpeople was released on the 31st of March 2016. It was filmed in New Zealand and directed by a New Zealand director, Taika Waititi. The film is about a boy named Ricky who is a foster kid and living with Bella and Hec. Shortly after Ricky move in Bella pass away. After Bella pass away a letter was sent to Ricky that said that Ricky was going to go back because he was a foster kid. Ricky decided to run away with Hec into the bush because he didn’t want to go back to the foster home. Polices and people were looking for Ricky in the bush. At the end of the film, Ricky and Hec were captures and Hec went to prison. I really like the film because it shows Ricky and Hec went from arguing to being best friend. I would recommend this movie to a New Zealand person because this movie was filmed in New Zealand.
My ratings for the film:

SEXXXY Paragraph - 3
Hello, Readers!
Today in film studies we have been writing a SEXXXY paragraph about the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople. I did 2 paragraphs so far and this is my third one. The third paragraph that I did is about a picture in the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
There is a lot of camera angles, music, and intense music used in the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople. This picture, shows a wide camera angle of Ricky and Hec in the bush looking at something. This makes the audience curious about what Ricky and Hec are looking at. The director included this because it shows the two-character bonding together on finding a bird that people said was extinct but it wasn’t. The wide-angle shot shows Hec and Ricky and the setting. I think this part is a really important part in the film because it shows Ricky and Hec are getting along together unlike at the beginning of the film where Ricky and Hec used to argue and not get along.

SEXXXY Paragraph - 2
Hello, Readers!
Today I will be telling you all about what I have been doing for film studies. So for film studies, we have been doing a slide and writing SEXXXY and doing a slide about the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople.
My Paragraph:
In the film Hunt for the Wilderpeople Ricky, the main character went through some personal growth. At the beginning of the film, Ricky was a thug. He was doing graffiti, burning stuff, stealing things, and other bad stuff. He was a foster kid. At the end of the film, Ricky changes into a better person and found a loving family, and has a friend for life. This makes the audience think that Ricky did all of this bad stuff because he was sad that he doesn’t have a loving family and moving from houses to houses. The director made Ricky changes as the film progresses because if Ricky stays the same it wouldn’t be an interesting film. In the film, you could see a wide camera shot of Ricky and Bella standing and talking. This shot is used to show what the character is wearing, how they stand, all the props, and how they talk. I think people should watch this film because it will inspire them to change into better people.
The slide I did:
What I learned how to write a SEXXXY paragraph.
This has helped my writing because it made my writing more interesting.
My favourite part of the film study has been watching the film.
